City of Madison

The City of Madison needed to explore an upgrade of their primary website to the latest version of Drupal.

They had built and managed the old site solely using internal developers. When it came time to explore an upgrade from Drupal 7 to a newer version, the City looked for a partner agency for help.

Electric Citizen was hired as outside consultants to lead a discovery process, help define the needs of an upgraded website, and provide web development consulting services during the migration and rebuild process.

Our team provided consulting on build planning, migration planning, theming and site building, all centered around best practices in Drupal and a new site that was more sustainable and easier to manage for the Madison team moving forward.

The project was a collaborative effort between our team of developers and the City’s own developers.
